Pluralsight Expands Technology Index to Rank Most In-Demand Technologies for Software Engineers, IT Operations, Information Security, and Data Professionals

/EIN News/ -- SILICON SLOPES, Utah, Oct. 22, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Pluralsight, Inc. (NASDAQ: PS), the enterprise technology skills platform, today announced that it has expanded its Technology Index tool to address the most in-demand technologies for IT operations, information security, and data professionals in addition to the previously existing ranking of top in-demand software developer languages.

Pluralsight’s expanded Technology Index provides a monthly snapshot into the most in-demand technologies, tools, languages, frameworks and certifications, enabling tech leaders and practitioners to keep their finger on the pulse of technology innovation. Ranking the demand and growth rate of more than 850 languages, tools and frameworks for software developers, IT operations, information security, and data professionals, the Index draws from more than 23 billion data points across eight sources.

“The pace of technology change is faster than ever, and tech leaders are struggling to keep pace. We created the Technology Index to give organizations an effective and easy-to-use tool to better understand the direction and cadence of the latest enterprise tech innovations. Using the Index, tech leaders can leverage independent data points to help inform their next tech investments and develop the skills their teams need,” said Nate Walkingshaw, chief experience officer at Pluralsight.
