Tesla’s Cybertruck Goes On Sale In Saudi Arabia, The UAE, And Qatar This Year

If you’re hankering after a Tesla Cybertruck and happen to live in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, or Qatar, we have good news for you — the electric pickup will go on sale in those locations later this year.

Tesla confirmed the news that the Cybertruck will make its way beyond North America for the first time, but it has so far not given a firm date or timeframe for when it will happen, beyond it taking place later this year.

According to Teslarati, the new Cybertrucks will ship from Gigafactory Texas, simply because that’s the only factory currently online.

Tesla will likely be shipping these vehicles from Gigafactory Texas to the Middle East, as both Giga Berlin and Gigafactory Shanghai have not established Cybertruck production lines. It will be interesting to see how soon Tesla can iron out this logistics process and whether it can stick to this timeline.

Tesla is no doubt keen to try to expand to new territories following a 13% drop in its first-quarter sales, as noted by Reuters, with the figure proving to be its weakest performance in almost three years.

The slump has been “driven by a backlash against Musk’s role in the Trump administration, rising competition and an aging product lineup, beyond the refreshed Model Y,” the report claims.
