Gangland feud timeline as firebombing campaign linked to Daniel clan continues
"Daniels and Richardsons - every associate, every building will be targeted. Leave Scotland immediately."
A firebombing campaign linked to one of Scotland’s most volatile gangland feuds rages on after a carpet factory connected to the notorious Daniel crime clan was engulfed in flames during an overnight attack.
A terrifying video posted online shows the premises in Bishopbriggs, Glasgow, going up in smoke to the soundtrack of The Prodigy’s “Firestarter” – before ending with a stark warning aimed directly at some of Scotland’s most feared underworld figures.
The message reads: "Daniel's and Richardson's - every associate, every building will be targeted. Leave Scotland immediately."
The blaze – which tore through the Carpet and Flooring factory on Wellington Road – marks the latest escalation in a turf war spreading from Edinburgh to Glasgow, with gangsters using fire and firearms.
Legal documents confirm that Daniel clan associate Craig ‘Rob Roy’ Gallagher is a director of a firm linked to the burnt-out unit. Gallagher, from Torrance, East Dunbartonshire, was jailed last week after carrying out an axe attack on Lyons gang associates.
This comes after the first four people were taken into custody following a number of dawn raids. And prison staff are also on red alert for more violence behind bars as the feud rumbles on.
Sources say trouble flared between the rival factions after hoods linked to caged mobster Mark Richardson were accused of stealing a stash of cocaine linked to a Mr Big.
It's understood the Glasgow mob boss, who is now based in Dubai, launched a new crime syndicate and began to flood Scotland with imported gear.
Police investigating the incidents say the opposing crews are "actively targeting each other" and law enforcement are using a number of techniques to target those involved.
March 6
A masked and hooded thug was caught on camera throwing a molotov cocktail into Belle Cheveux.
The beauty salon - in the capital's Albert Street - was targeted at around 2.30am.

Nearly 50 firefighters were tasked with extinguishing the blaze, which took hold of the unit in Eskmills Road.
The huge blaze took hold at around 12.30am, causing the roof to collapse and the building to be hollowed out by flames.
March 16
Another blaze took place, this time in Portobello.
The garage in question went up in flames in the coastal suburb's Milton Road East.
It took the firefighters scrambled to the scene three and a half hours to contain the blaze.

A window was blasted at a ground floor flat in the city's West Pilton Bank at around 7.55am.
Police stood guard outside the property and placed a large cordon around the flat, as they moved to assure residents living in fear in the area.
Following the two shootings police confirmed they believed both were 'targeted' attacks between two warring crime gangs.
March 23
A property in Hay Drive, Niddrie, was targeted by a balaclava-clad thug at around 4.30am.
The yob hurled a petrol bomb through a window, with chilling video clip shared online afterwards.
The video - the Motown song ‘Nowhere to Run, Nowhere to Hide’ playing in the background - showed a series of attacks.
The incidents are understood to be on properties said to be connected to Richardson.
At the end, a message appears stating: "This is a message to anyone associated with Mark Richardson.
"We are only just getting started. We are coming for all of yous".
Underworld figures say the Mr Big behind the carnage doesn't care about "collateral damage".
They said: "The guy's house got shot at during the night and it's all linked to the recent fire attacks as he is part of Richardson's crew.
"It's scary as he has kids but it seems like this new player isn't bothered about collateral damage.
"He is based in Dubai and Richardson's crew stole a stash of drugs from him so he's going after them.
"Another one of Richardson's crew also lives nearby and was confronted by armed thugs in the street then chased.
"It's all getting out of hand and someone is going to be seriously hurt."
April 1
It emerged key lieutenants who helped plan and execute attacks on Richardson’s empire had fled to Dubai.
The Edinburgh duo - who we have chosen not to name - assembled the firebomb and firearms teams.
Their footsoldiers carried out the shotgun and firebomb attacks on properties, before they went to ground.
They were said to have headed to the UAE after Richardson allegedly dispatched heavies to the millionaire’s playground.

Four people were detained in a series of Police Scotland dawn raids designed to bring the feud to an end.
A large number of armed officers from Edinburgh and the east of Scotland raided a number of properties.

Prison sources said a "bloodbath" was expected at Edinburgh's Saughton Prison.
Prison staff are said to be braced for trouble between rival factions, with some key players in Scotland's underworld being targeted.
Drug kingpin Jamie "Iceman" Stevenson and his associates are said to be on "semi-protection" as the war is expected to continue raging.
And Stevenson is said to have asked for a transfer as the carnage seeps into the prison system.
It's believed he and two key associates have tried to secure a move to another prison.

In the early hours of Friday morning, the Hay Drive property was targeted again - for the second time in 12 days.
This time the blaze spread to the house next door, with a dozen firefighters battling the aftermath.
As well as the roof damage, the windows also appear blackened with smoke.
An eyewitness said: "Someone bombed our neighbour's house. They bombed the same house twice, 12 days apart.
"A family with a small child live in the house next door. They went to safety."
Chilling footage then emerged showing a house door in Glasgow being doused in petrol by a hooded man before being lit on fire. It then cuts to a firebombing incident at Hay Drive in Edinburgh, where a petrol bomb was flung through a window, causing a massive blaze inside.
The footage then shows a deliberate fireraising at Kelvinside Motor Company at Milton Road in the Kirkintilloch at around 3.10am on Friday, April 4.
The video then ends with a chilling warning for the Daniel clan. It reads: "We are urging everyone in Scotland on the streets and those incarcerated to join us in the fight against Mark Richardson and the Daniels family.
"These rats have been thieving for a long time. It's time for people to stand together as one and remove this vermin from our streets. Tamo Junto."

Legal documents confirm Daniel clan associate Craig ‘Rob Roy’ Gallagher is a director of a firm linked to the burnt-out unit. Gallagher, from Torrance, East Dunbartonshire, was jailed last week after carrying out an axe attack on Lyons gang associates in broad daylight – a flashpoint in the deepening feud.
Emergency services were alerted around 12.30am on Tuesday, and six fire appliances raced to the scene. While no injuries were reported, the factory was completely gutted, with images from the site showing charred walls, collapsed roofing and smoke-stained wreckage.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service confirmed: “There are no reported casualties. Crews remain in attendance.”
The man charged over the beauty salon and garage firebombing incidents also appeared in court.
