Scenthound Responds to Demand for Pet Care in Southwest Region with Multi-Unit Expansion in Key Markets

March 28, 2025 // Franchising.com // JUPITER, FL – Scenthound announces significant expansion across the Southwest region, with development deals for 11 locations in key markets. Marking a milestone for the brand, Scenthound will be debuting in Arizona and New Mexico while expanding in Utah. The development further solidifies its position as a leader in the pet care industry and furthering its mission of making routine hygiene services accessible to pet parents and their canine family members.

Behind the Signed Agreements:

  • Phoenix, Arizona: Making the brand’s debut into the state, Steve Reback is bringing three Scenters to the Phoenix DMA. Combining his experience in law and banking with a long-held entrepreneurial ambition, Reback chose Scenthound for its solid business model. Recognizing a need for these services in his community, and as a dog parent himself, he’s motivated by the importance of providing pets with routine hygiene and wellness services.
  • Salt Lake City, Utah: After 25 years working in corporate, Red Solosko is turning his lifelong love for animals into his next professional venture bringing an additional five Scenters to Salt Lake City. Having seen first-hand the powerful impact that pets can have on people’s lives, Scenthound’s commitment to its mission to bettering the health of dogs made the brand an ideal investment opportunity.
  • Albuquerque, New Mexico: With a steep background in graphic design and expertise in software development, Lisa and Andres Jaramillo are uniquely positioned for success as Scenthound’s first franchise partners in New Mexico. Driven by their shared love of their very own canine companion, the husband-wife duo is excited to bring the brand’s one-of-its-kind concept to the pet care landscape in Albuquerque.

“We’re thrilled to welcome these passionate and driven entrepreneurs into the Scenthound family,” says Tim Vogel, Co-Founder and CEO of Scenthound. “As we expand our footprint into new markets, our goal remains the same. We will continue to change the way people think about caring for their dogs by emphasizing the importance of practicing proactive wellness.”
