Missing our WIBW newscasts on demand? Here’s what’s happening

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Several 13 NEWS viewers have reached out, wondering why our “latest newscasts” section isn’t getting many new additions over the past couple weeks.

Don’t worry! They’ll be back!

The reason we cannot make those previous complete newscasts available for later viewing is due to NCAA restrictions on video from the men’s and women’s tournaments currently underway.

While we can stream our scheduled newscasts in real time, any newscasts that may have NCAA highlights cannot be posted for later viewing, and cannot remain available through Video on Demand.

We are grateful for the success of our Northeast Kansas teams, and we’ll be back to normal when the tournaments end. Meantime, please know videos from all our stories are available individually under the News Clips and Segments tab.
