Jose Mourinho has taken a major swipe at Manchester City, accusing them of lacking class following the release of their new fly-on-the-wall documentary that paints the Manchester United manager in an unflattering light.
Mourinho is furious he is frequently mentioned in the eight-part show All or Nothing, promoted as giving the inside track on City’s title-winning 2017-18 season, and that the film features clips of his press conferences, including one when he was Kevin De Bruyne’s manager at Chelsea.
‘I know a few things about the movie. You don’t need to be disrespectful to have a fantastic movie. My first reaction is if you are a rich club you can buy top players, you cannot buy class,’ said Mourinho.

‘The second reaction is because I am in the movie I could ask for royalties. You know a movie without me doesn’t sell much. I needed to be there.’
Mourinho has been fully briefed about the series which was released by Amazon Prime on Friday.
Amazon paid City £10million for unique filming access last season, including Pep Guardiola delivering messages to his players in the dressing-room.
The script, narrated by Oscar-winning actor Sir Ben Kingsley, highlights the rivalry between the two managers.

The first Manchester derby at Old Trafford last season describes the game as ‘Mourinho versus Guardiola once again, attacking football versus park-the-bus’ and there are cutaway shots of City fans ridiculing United’s style.
More than once, Mourinho press conferences are included, designed to make him manager look foolish. One dates back to a League Cup tie between Chelsea and Swindon in 2013 when Mourinho reacts badly to being asked why he had left out De Bruyne.
The Belgian was sold to Wolfsburg the following January before returning to England to help City become champions. Though City insist the final editorial content of ‘All or Nothing’ lay with Amazon, Mourinho clearly feels there has been an attempt to humiliate him.
To get his own back, he cheekily said he’d accept a memento from the last Manchester derby, which United won 3-2 to stop City clinching the title at the Etihad in April, in lieu of any payment for his ‘role’ in their film.
‘If they send me one of the shirts they had in the tunnel when we played there, I give up about the royalties,’ he said. ‘The shirts that were saying “We did it on derby day”.’
Mourinho will hope turning attention on City’s morals will help unify his club after a difficult start in which United failed to sign a defender and captain Paul Pogba said he’d be fined if he spoke about how he felt.
