GAITHERSBURG GERMANTOWN AWARD EXEMPLIFIES A YEAR OF EXCELLENCE IN SERVING BOTH CUSTOMERS AND THE COMMUNITY

ROCKVILLE, MD, US, December 11, 2018 /EINPresswire.com/ -- (Gaithersburg, MD. December 6) The Gaithersburg Germantown Chamber of Commerce (GGCC) awarded Auxilium Technology, Inc. the Chamber's 2018 Small Business of the Year Award at their annual Gala and Award Ceremony.

This prestigious distinction bestowed by the chamber recognizes businesses for being a vital part of the local economy and community. To earn this award, the GGCC assesses a company by their business success, community involvement, and excellence in customer relations. As a leading digital marketing firm in the region, Auxilium has served the digital marketing needs of companies throughout the community. With a commitment towards providing top-tier service, Auxilium's expertise propels regional business growth through the use of modern digital marketing tools and strategies that help businesses of all sizes thrive in the digital marketplace.

Of the more than 400 members of the GGCC, Auxilium excelled in all criteria to earn the GGCC exclusive award.

The Gala and Award Ceremony that was attended by upwards of 150 guests included were esteemed members of the business community, representatives from local law enforcement, and local government representatives. The GGCC, which has added over 100 new businesses to its membership over the last year, is Montgomery County's largest chamber of commerce. When receiving the award for Small Business of the Year, Chief Technical Officer Ed Samuels addressed the congregation, stating:

"It is in our DNA, part of giving back to this chamber is educating members about online security, and of course, how to make your business bigger and better, and how to grow into 2019. Giving back is an important part of what we do as a business, and we invest extensive time and resources into this. We build awareness and promote education in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics through the support of Project Lead The Way. We collaborate with The Department of Homeland Security to build awareness for cybersecurity best practices. These contributions also include giving back to foundations, such as BlackRock Center for the Arts, National Children’s Center, and Lupus Foundation. As we build on our success, we help others become more successful."

As an established member of the GGCC, Auxilium has sponsored events to help educate members and increase value for the organization.

Beyond Business Services

This distinction also recognizes the contributions made by small businesses to their community. Auxilium has provided educational resources and workshops to local businesses through multiple chambers of commerce, in the areas of digital marketing and cybersecurity best practices. Auxilium was a featured presenter at the GGCC’s 2018 “Let’s Get Social” training seminar, and instructed members on how to achieve success through social media marketing. Auxilium also contributes their services to local chambers in the area of web development, digital marketing consulting, and video development. Giving back to the community is fundamental to the company model, and these contributions range from community service to education and awareness.
