More than several thousand customers with energy cooperative Habersham EMC were left wondering what triggered a power outage during the early evening hours on Sunday.
Crews for HEMC were quick to respond to a reported transmission line outage that affected portions of Hall, Lumpkin and White County customers after 5:00 p.m. Sunday.
HEMC's outage map showed late Sunday evening that service to all of those area's customers was restored within one hour, while most customers affected experienced an outage period of only several minutes.
The HEMC social media page thanks their loyal customers for their patience and understanding during the outage period on Sunday.
