SUSPICIOUS — Suspicious activity reported at 4:30 a.m. Friday, May 3, at Washington Street and Eighth Street North.

Suspicious vehicle reported at 1:52 a.m. Friday on the 300 block of Washington Street.

Suspicious activity reported at 3:32 p.m. Thursday on the 900 block of Blair Circle.

Suspicious activity reported at 7:44 a.m. Thursday on the 400 block of D Street.

INTOXICATED — A heavily intoxicated individual was placed on a hold and brought to the emergency room at 12:27 a.m. Friday on the 400 block of East River Road.

ARREST — Arrested a 22-year-old woman at 11:26 p.m. Thursday for felony fourth degree drugs, misdemeanor open bottle during a traffic stop at North Fourth and Washington streets. Citation issued for misdemeanor underage drinking and driving and misdemeanor underage consumption.

DISTURBANCE — A person was told to leave a business and not return after a disturbance at 7:53 p.m. Thursday at 25 Northeast Washington Street.

Report of a student causing a disturbance at 10:53 a.m. Thursday on the 700 block of South Fifth Street.

Officers located a person who was put on a hold and returned to the emergency room about 2 a.m. Thursday on the 500 block of North Third Street.

ASSIST — Officers responded to Essentia Health-St. Joseph’s Medical Center for an assist at 6:11 p.m. Thursday on the 500 block of North Third Street.

THEFTS — A theft was reported Thursday on the 700 block of Ninth Avenue Northeast.

A theft reported Thursday from the 1100 block of 10th Avenue Northeast.

FRAUD — Fraud reported Thursday from South Eighth Street.

CHILD MALTREATMENT — Received report of child maltreatment Thursday on North 10th Street.

GARBAGE DUMPING — Garbage dumping reported Thursday on the 1200 block of Evergreen Avenue.

WELFARE CHECK — A person was found sleeping in a vehicle after a welfare check was called at 4:10 a.m. Thursday at 10th Avenue and H Street Northeast.

Baxter police

ARRESTS — Arrested 50-year-old man about 8:27 a.m. Wednesday on the 11000 block of Forestview Drive after a report of a domestic disturbance with a male in a mental health crisis.

Man was arrested for offenses.

Arrested a 42-year-old woman about 7:52 p.m. April 29 for warrants and a man was cited for driving after revocation and no insurance after a traffic stop.

Arrested a 34-year-old woman about 7:22 p.m. April 28 for DWI following a traffic stop on Excelsior Road and Dellwood Drive.

Arrested a 42-year-old man about 12:11 a.m. April 28 for fourth-degree DWI after a traffic stop at Highway 210 and Elder Drive.

Arrested a 28-year-old man about 1:19 a.m. April 27 for fourth-degree DWI after a traffic stop at Highway 371 and Woida Road.

Arrested a man for semaphore violation and placed under arrest for probable cause from Brainerd police April 26 after a traffic stop at Glory Road and Highway 371.

DISTURBANCE — Cited a 72-year-old man for disorderly conduct after receiving a report of a man making inappropriate comments and taking photos of children Thursday at 13060 Isle Drive.

Report of male sitting in the road sweating and chanting about communications with God at 9:08 a.m. Tuesday on the 6400 block of Atwater Road. Subject’s family advised of behavior.

A juvenile female was cited for disorderly conduct April 29 and along with another person who was told to leave and not return to a store, 13400 block of Elmwood Drive.

Disturbance reported at 4 p.m. April 28 at 14400 block of Dellwood Drive. Female subject left the hotel.

ANIMAL — Lost dog reported Thursday on Forest Drive. Dog was found.

Lost female brindle dog with pink leather collar, one brown and one light blue eye named Rowdy reported at 8:36 a.m. Thursday, 5200 block of Clearwater Road.

WELFARE CHECK — A male was reported slumped over in a vehicle at 3:31 p.m. Thursday on the 14500 block of Dellwood Drive. The male was sleeping while waiting for a Door Dash order.

Report of seeing a child in a car giving the international sign for help at 5:26 p.m. Wednesday, 14600 block of Edgewood Drive. The international sign is in one motion having an open hand, folding the thumb into the palm and closing the fingers over the thumb. The information was related to Cass County.

HARASSMENT — Report Wednesday of someone making Snapchat videos about an individual.

Individual reported Wednesday that a former partner now out of state is harassing them and threatened to sign their shared vehicle as stolen. Advised of harassment restraining order process.

THEFT — Report of leaving a bag of money in a grocery cart Thursday afternoon, 7895 Excelsior Road, and when the individual returned the money was gone.

Report of a $2,420 MacBook computer stolen from the store, Thursday, 14500 block of Edgewood Drive, with the suspect fleeing on foot. Suspect reportedly got into a waiting blue Dodge Challenger. The suspect was not located.

Theft reported April 29 on 7200 block of Glory Road.

Cited a 39-year-old man for shoplifting April 29, 7200 block of Glory Road.

Cited a 37-year-old man for shoplifting Wednesday, 7200 block of Glory Road.

A juvenile male was cited for $81.98 in shoplifting April 27, 14100 block of Dellwood Drive, released to grandparent.

Unpaid gas reported April 26 7400 block of Excelsior Road. Vehicle owner reported his son had the truck. He was advised he would have to have his son go back and pay.

PROPERTY DAMAGE — Damage to a park reported Thursday, 12599 Mountain Ash Drive.

Property damage reported Thursday on the 12100 block of Knollwood Drive.

Graffiti reported April 29 on a building on the 7400 block of Fairview Road.

SUSPICIOUS — Report of juveniles crawling under a gate and entering a store after closing at 7:42 p.m. Wednesday, 14100 block of Baxter Drive. When confronted by an employee, they ran and were located by mall security. Suspects were told to leave and not return by security. Parents were notified.

Report of suspicious vehicle April 29 with windows covered. Person was homeless and staying in the vehicle. An officer provided resources.

FRAUD — Individual reported paying bill via debit card by online search to find what they thought was legitimate site but it turned out to be a fraudulent website. Bank was notified and the debit card canceled and account reimbursed. Centurylink was notified of the issue.

Suspect attempted to pass forged check for $1,500 Tuesday on the 14000 block of Edgewood Drive. Bank held the check and notified the account holder.

CHILD MALTREATMENT — Received multiple different reports of child maltreatment Wednesday and April 29.

ROAD RAGE — Damage to property reported at 3:19 p.m. Tuesday after a road rage incident on Highway 371 before both vehicles pulled into Costco parking lot and an argument ensued. Suspect slashed the victim’s tires with a knife and left, 13600 block of Elder Drive.

ASSIST — Assisted the Minnesota State Patrol with a crash at 3:58 p.m. April 28 at the intersection of highways 210 and 371.

OTHER — Checked on 911 hangup April 27. Appears a mom locked herself out of the room and kids were scared when she knocked on the door, 6900 block of Lake Forest Road.

Student in possession of marijuana pipe April 26 on the 12100 block of Knollwood Drive. Officer destroyed a pipe and school consequences ensued.
